Our story

It started on the walk to daycare.

Alex was six months old. Most mornings looked the same: pram out, Sam to daycare, then wherever the rest of the day took us. The park, the coast, some outing that sounded better in theory than it turned out in practice.

The pram did a lot of work. It came home with the day on it.

So I went looking for a liner.

I wanted something quieter.

There are some beautiful prints out there and plenty of families love them. I just kept picturing the next three years. The same liner every morning, in every photo, in the boot of the car. For me, that meant something calm.

I kept thinking about activewear. That industry worked it out a long time ago. Something can be practical and beautiful and still perform. Built to work hard, last well, and look good doing it.

That's what I wanted for the pram. So we made it.

One liner. Made properly.

Cotton on the outside, so it's soft where it touches your baby and breathes on warm days. Polyester underneath to hold its shape and take a wash.

Seventy-nine centimetres by thirty-two, which fits most standard pram seats with a 3 or 5 point harness. That's deliberate. One size means you can move it between prams, leave it at the grandparents', or hand it on when you're through.

Machine wash on gentle, air dry. That's the whole care routine.

Fennec Baby is me and my husband, working out of Sydney. One product, made the way we wanted it for our own kids.

If it doesn't hold up, you'll be talking to us, not a call centre.
